Privacy Policy

Jobies.pk ("we", "us") helps you build CVs, run ATS analysis, discover job matches, and optionally subscribe to Pro features. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and email verification status.
• CV content: text you enter in the builder, uploaded PDF/DOCX files, analysis results, and version history.
• Usage data: plan type, feature usage (analyses, PDF exports, AI assists), and payment references for Pro (not full card numbers — payments are processed via JazzCash or demo mode).
• Job preferences: saved jobs, alerts, target roles, and match scores derived from your CV.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging.

How we use your information

• Provide CV building, ATS scoring, AI suggestions, PDF export, and job matching.
• Process Pro subscriptions and manual payment verification.
• Send transactional emails (OTP verification, payment status, Pro expiry notices, optional newsletter if you subscribe).
• Improve the service and prevent abuse (rate limits, fraud prevention).

AI & third-party processors

When you run AI analysis, AI CV fixes, or AI writing tools, relevant CV text may be sent to third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI) solely to generate results you request. We do not sell your personal data or CV content to advertisers.

Job listings displayed on Jobies.pk may be ingested from external job boards and employer websites. We store excerpts, metadata, and links to original postings — see our Terms regarding third-party listings.

Pro subscriptions & data retention

When your Pro plan ends, your account returns to the Free plan. We do not delete your CVs because a subscription expired. CVs, uploads, and analysis history remain in your account subject to these limits:

• Free accounts may be limited on how many new CVs can be created; existing CVs are retained.
• Free PDF downloads may include a small text footer watermark (e.g. "Created with Jobies.pk").
• Premium templates and AI features require an active Pro subscription to use; your saved content remains accessible for editing on Free where permitted.

We may send an email when your Pro plan expires explaining what changed and how to renew.

Cookies & sessions

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and protect forms (CSRF). We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the core product.

Your rights

You may update your profile name, export your CV as PDF, and request account deletion by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any newsletter.

Security

We use industry-standard practices (HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls). No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Children

Jobies.pk is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
